Introducing KFC Jalan Panjang!

We are so excited to share images of our new flagship KFC restaurant in Jalan Panjang. As Indonesia’s first R.E.D (relevant, easy, distinctive) omni-channel restaurant, this beautiful KFC is 3,200 square feet and offers 98 seats with both indoor and outdoor dining options. Guests also have access to six kiosks, as well as a stealth POS, and a drive thru. KFC Jalan Panjang also features an integrated coffee counter and dedicated delivery rider parking with a waiting vestibule. Noticeably, there are also no digital menu boards at the front counter, reflecting our new customer experience focused on the kiosks, and better showcasing the kitchen itself.

Opened on July 29, this restaurant is the result of a year-long collaboration between our development team in Indonesia, Yum!, and our design partner FRCH. It is a true testament to the power of working together to achieve breakthrough results. Everything has been thoughtfully designed and implemented with a seamless and on-brand customer experience in mind.

KFC Jalan Panjang is located in the West Jakarta neighborhood of Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia. The neighborhood is quickly developing with new shopping centers opening there. West Jakarta is also home to parts of the old Chinatown area and a part of the city known for bargain shopping. Currently, KFC has approximately 740 locations throughout Indonesia and expects to open an additional 25 over the course of 2021.
