VAT’S THE WAY (uh huh, uh huh) I LIKE IT
- Following last week’s Government announcement, KFC celebrates the VAT reduction with a
mouth-wateringly good deal - Behold… the Boneless Budget Bucket. 10 Mini Fillets for just £4.99. Available for five days only
- There’s also further price reductions across the menu, with £1 off ALL sharing buckets and 50p off several fan favourites
July 14, 2020, London, United Kingdom- Usually, we’re more interested in snacks than tax. But to celebrate the VAT reduction announced last week, KFC are launching some incredible deals that will be sure to get your feathers in a flap.
As of tomorrow (15th July), we’re offering the Boneless Budget Bucket – 10 Mini Fillets for just £4.99. Yes, you heard us right. The offer is valid until Sunday (19th July) and is available in KFC restaurants only.
Still feeling peckish? Well, it doesn’t stop there.
The VAT reduction comes at a time of continuing economic uncertainty, so it’s an important initiative in terms of supporting our restaurants and teams, as well as the recovery of our whole sector. It’s welcome news. Equally, our fans have been amazing over the past few months, so we are rolling out price reductions across our menu too. We’re keen to offer clear, straightforward discounts on items that we know our fans love – so this includes £1 off ALL our iconic sharing buckets and 50p off many other fan favourites.
Over the coming weeks, we’ll be running more fantastic deals on top of that and will play our part in supporting the new Eat Out to Help Out scheme. So keep your eyes peeled – we just might have something waiting in the wings for you soon.
In summary: great chicken, great prices. Can’t say fairer than VAT.

About KFC:
In 1952 Colonel Harland Sanders opened the first KFC restaurant in Utah. Since then, his perfectly crafted Original Recipe chicken and its secret recipe of 11 herbs and spices has become famous all over the world, and today we have over 900 restaurants across the UK and Ireland.
The Colonel was all about doing things the right way. That means our chicken is delivered fresh from farm to restaurant in 48 hours. It’s prepared carefully by hand in-restaurant by trained cooks, using the very best chicken reared to strict welfare standards. In July 2019 we took the next big step in our welfare journey and signed up to the Better Chicken Commitment, a set of six criteria that have been designed to improve the lives of all
chickens within the KFC supply chain, by 2026. That’s what makes our food so finger lickin’ good.
The right way also means serving fresh proper food, packed with flavour. So, we’ve worked hard to make nutritional improvements across our menu, so our fans have as much choice as possible, and we’ve committed to removing 20% of calories per serving by 2025.
The Colonel also believed in feeding promise, wherever it’s found. So that’s why we invest heavily in the development and careers of our 27,000 employees – we were the first restaurant to launch an honours degree. And since its 2015 launch, our KFC Foundation has paid out grants totalling £5 million to our charity partners who are passionate about developing and nurturing young people across the country.
