Our Leadership

Rob Swain currently serves as the COO for KFC. In his role, he leads franchise operations, restaurant innovation, delivery, compliance and operation transformation for the global system.

Prior to this role, Rob was the COO for KFC UK&I where he led the operations team and drove the operations agenda for that business unit. Additionally, he recently served as Chair of the Global Operations Forum where he supported the global team and COOs with coaching, guidance and market context.

Prior to joining YUM in 2009, Rob worked in retail operations for 12 years and completed an MBA before making the move to KFC to begin his career as an Area Coach. He has worked in the UK and across Europe in a variety of operational roles in both franchise and equity businesses.

Rob loves to spend his spare time with his wife and three children in Suffolk where he can also be found enjoying his love for running and outdoor sports.

Favorite KFC memory: Too many to mention but seeing my area turn around performance as an area coach and watching leaders grow from team members to leaders in our organization is really special.
